For many parents, this summer might have seemed like one of the longest in living memory. With children learning from home and summer sport canceled, it’s been difficult for some families to get their kids to burn off their excess energy.
However, with many schools going back to in-person classes as school returns this fall, you’ll hopefully be able to get back into the normal swing of things.
Since it’s been an extended summer break for many students, we thought we’d bring you some back-to-school items you’ll want to consider.
1. The North Face Borealis Luxe Backpack
As kids get older, they generally need to carry around more stuff at school. This is why an investment in a slightly larger backpack such as this one is a great idea.
Learning from home, kids might have forgotten the struggle of carrying around textbooks, their drink bottle, and lunch. Fortunately, the North Face Borealis is comfortable enough for the return to hauling to be almost unnoticeable.
2. Hydro Flask Wide Mouth 40 oz. Bottle
Another creature comfort not available with in-person learning: going to the kitchen to get an ice-cold drink.
This bottle is probably the next-best thing. It has incredible insulation – it’ll keep cold drinks cold for up to 24 hours, and hot drinks hot for up to 6 hours.
3. Adidas Ultraboost 20
If your kids have mostly been staying indoors for the past few months, it might well be time for a new pair of shoes.
The Ultraboost 20 isn’t cheap, but it’s probably the best all-around shoe you could ask for as a student. Designed for running, it’s very nimble, and the outsole is extremely comfortable. Plus, because of the mesh-like material in the upper, it almost feels like you’re not wearing shoes – just like when learning from home.
